Advances in computing, processing, and
visualization for verification applications
The CTBTO is responsible for processing near-real time data and incorporating computational and scientific methods and models into the analysis and characterization of events via the International Data Centre. This communication, processing, and product-generating system is one example of emerging complex knowledge-based computing systems that incorporate globally distributed, multi-technology observations. Contributions are sought that describe growth and advances in computing, processing, and visualization systems and techniques relevant to the verification application, such as computer system architecture/design, adaptive machine learning, autonomic systems, modern visualization and human-computer interaction techniques, knowledge discovery techniques applied to extensive detection and event databases, signal processing, association and detection algorithms, cloud computing and storage.
