What does infrasound detect that the other three technologies cannot?

The IMS infrasound network uses microbarometers (i.e. acoustic pressure sensors) to detect very low-frequency sound waves in the atmosphere. It can differentiate between atmospheric explosions, natural phenomena (e.g. volcanic eruptions) and man-made phenomena, such as aircraft in supersonic flight and rocket launches.
