Tsunami and Fukushima accident: afternoon and evening of Thursday 9 June (15.15 to 20.00) are dedicated to the Japan disaster, see programme. Apart from a scientific analysis of the earthquake, tsunami and ensuing emissions from the damaged nuclear power plant, organizations such as the IAEA, UNSCEAR and CTBTO will discuss conclusions for future cooperation in a panel discussion moderated by BBC's Susan Watts at 17.45.
