Yudiutomo Imardjoko is the President Director of PT INUKI Company, a, Indonesian state-owned enterprise which was formerly known as PT Batan Teknologi. He has held this position since 2011. He has also served as the Chairman of the Indonesian Nuclear Society since 2012.
Dr Imardjoko has over 20 years’ experience as an engineer in nuclear technology. In 1995 he joined Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia as a faculty member in the Nuclear Engineering and Environmental Programs of Study, a position that he continues to hold. He also served as the Chairman of the Engineering Physics Department and as Director for the Center for Energy Studies at Gadjah Mada University from 1996 to 2003.
His area of expertise is managing radioactive waste. He has conducted extensive research in radioactive waste immobilization and monitoring radioisotope plumes in the environment using a remote monitoring system.
In 2013 Dr Imardjoko received an award from the Workshop on Signatures of Medical and Industrial Isotope Production (WOSMIP) for being the most active promoter of radioisotope production to meet the requirement set by the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
