The tabletop exercise will be conducted immediately after the leadership course for the participants of the Integrated Field Exercise in 2008 (Baden, Austria, 12-15 April 2008).
The tabletop exercise (TTE) is intended for the potential participants of the Integrated Field Exercise in 2008 (IFE08) (Kazakhstan, 25 August – 30 September 2008) who will be chosen from the existing roster of leading experts and scientists from States Signatories.
Participants will be chosen from the existing roster.
Deadline for Application:
Not applicable. Participants will be chosen from the existing roster.
The Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS) will provide the participants with travel and a portion of daily subsistence allowance (DSA) for the duration of the course. The accommodation and meals will be provided.
The tabletop exercise is to simulate those elements of the OSI that are found critical for the conduct of the IFE08.
The scenario for the TTE, will, in specific, address the following elements: IIP, point of entry (POE) activities, conduct of initial period activities, managed access, and transition to the continuation period.
Throughout the conduct of these activities, most aspects of leadership, those that were specifically addressed during the leadership course for the IFE08 participants (Baden, Austria, 12-15 April 2008), will be exercised and observed.
