Announcement, Time and Venue

The Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear‑Test‑Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) is pleased to announce the Hydroacoustic Supplier Event 2026, to be held at the Vienna International Centre on 10 September 2026.

The event is designed as a procurement‑focused supplier engagement forum, with the aim of bringing together industry players, technology providers, and service companies involved in underwater acoustic monitoring and deep‑sea systems.

Purpose of the Event 

The purpose of the Hydroacoustic Supplier Event is to present CTBTO’s current and anticipated technical needs related to the maintenance, sustainment, modernization, and future development of the International Monitoring System (IMS) Hydroacoustic Network. The CTBTO aims to engage in open and transparent communication with the supply market, provide early visibility of potential procurement opportunities and learn from the industry about innovative solutions that may be applied for the sustainment and future generation of the IMS Hydroacoustic Network.

Who Should Attend

The event is open to suppliers interested in doing business with the CTBTO and with expertise in subsea cable systems, underwater acoustics, hydrophone technologies, marine electronics, deep‑sea operations, fiber‑optic sensing, and/or advanced monitoring solutions.
