OBJECTIVES
The objective of this technical meeting is to continue the process of completing the IDC (Validation and Acceptance Test Plan VATP). The focus for this particular meeting is to:
- Discuss the VATP Rev.6.0
- Address comments received on the VATP
- Discuss the 2026 Experiment, the associated VTs and the Test Implementation Plans (TIPs)
- Discuss initial plans for the next Experiment
AGENDA
The following agenda is draft and may be subjected to changes prior to the technical meeting. A detailed agenda will be provided to all participants prior to the technical meeting.
- Update on the Progressive Commissioning of the IDC
- Discussion any comments received regarding the VATP Rev 6.0 document and actions to address them
- Review the status of the preparations for the 2026 Experiment including:
- The Experiment Plan
- The Experiment Schedule
- The status of the TIPs
- Discussion of the next activities to take place regarding progressive commissioning
- Meeting outcomes and action items
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
The meeting is aimed towards scientists, engineers and other persons who have technical expertise in any of the four IMS technologies, the functions of the IDC and in performance monitoring and testing. The participants are expected to provide their technical input to the VATP and related activities such as the 2026 Experiment.
States Signatories are invited to nominate experts who will provide substantive inputs into these topics for discussion.

Aplication deadline: 20 March 2026
Applicants are invited to submit their applications for this meeting through established official channels (their Permanent Missions to the CTBTO or Ministries of Foreign Affairs), not later than 20 March 2026.
