OBJECTIVES
In response to the recommendation from the 2024 National Data Centre (NDC) Workshop which stated, ‘The PTS should hold a virtual meeting six to nine months prior to each NDC workshop to discuss the agenda and better involve NDCs in its elaboration’, this meeting aims to provide a forum for States Signatories to discuss topics of interest for the agenda of the 2026 NDC Workshop.
 

AGENDA
The meeting will include the following:

• General information relevant to the 2026 NDC workshop
• Brief review of key points on the agenda of the 2024 NDC workshop
• 2026 NDC workshop topics
• Open discussion of topics for possible inclusion into the initial draft of the NDC workshop agenda
• Meeting summary and next steps

PARTICIPANT PROFILE
This meeting is aimed towards experts from States Signatories from NDCs who may be attending the upcoming NDC Workshop in Q4 of 2026 and want to provide input into the topics to be included in the meeting agenda.
